■Inspiration

Seeking inspiration, I watched the re-launched 2005 and 2006 series of the long-running sci-fi cult favorite television series and chose to depict characters from Episode 2 of Series 1, “The End of the World”. The focus is on Lady Cassandra O’Brien Dot Delta Seventeen, the self-proclaimed last “pure” human who is actually just a face on a piece of stretched-out skin mounted on a frame, the treacherous spider-like robots under her command and Jabe of the Forest of Cheem, a humanoid tree descending from rainforests of Earth.
